GeneIOS Unleashed: Simplifying the Design and Assembly of Synthetic DNA to Expedite the R&D Process in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech Industries

Tony Cox will discuss Gene Oracle, a privately held company offering research support services to the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical community worldwide. The company was formed in late 2004 and is located in Mountain View, as a fully equipped research and service facility for synthetic gene production, quality control, product development, and technology development. The company has entered into a number of strategic alliances to expand its commercialization efforts. In 2006, the company entered into a licensing agreement with NextgenSciences. In 2008, the company (i) offered to clients it’s first-of-a-kind GeneIOS software and reagent kit for gene synthesis and (ii) partnered with Bioline USA, Inc. to supply and co-market the components of the GeneIOS reagent pack. In 2009, the company entered into a second supply and co-marketing agreement for high quality oligonucleotides for the GeneIOS synthesis kit.
