Dr. Shilton-Lloyd received a doctorate in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, a master of arts in philosophy, and a master of science in biology from Yale University. Her research involved the identification of a novel interaction between hormone response and cell adhesion. An experienced lecturer at the university undergraduate level, she designed and taught an advanced genetics course for a Yale-sponsored inner-city high school honors program. In addition to her work with GeneEd, Inc., Alycia also serves as an advisor and adjunct faculty for the San Francisco State University Clinical Research Associate program.
