How to Be the Person Everyone Wants to Hire

Have you ever wondered why some people – who are not technically capable get hired over those with more skills and experience? How about the person who got promoted or kept in the last round of layoffs at your company? We could blame it on age discrimination or keeping people who make less than we do, but it really goes deeper than that. In this session we will explore what attitudes, behaviors, skills and attributes that you can develop while in your job hunt and in your next position that will land you a winning role more quickly.

Some of the things we will cover:

1. Image management
2. Effective communication style
3. Winning attitudes
4. Demonstrating competency and ability to get along with others in an interview setting
5. Building advocate and support relationships to help you land that job more quickly
6. Staying organized and motivated

These same attitudes, skills and behaviors can be employed once you land that dream job, and help keep you there, working on interesting projects, and gaining promotions, too.
